Car camping and wilderness camping are both “real” activities that take us out of the day to day grind and allow us to explore other aspects of ourselves. We cannot unlearn modernity in either setting.
We can be naked in fenced out door and freehiking “wilderness” camping environments too - weather and bugs permitting. That is so much the better!
That's not REAL (fill-in-the-blank) is just "gatekeeping." Everyone should just do their own thing in their own time as long as they aren't infringing on others.
Well said! I love that nudism and naturism make an effort to welcome people from all backgrounds to reconnect with our roots by shedding our outer layers and making us more equal. But, as you say, we will often still have tokens of the textile world in tow, which express part of our identity. Nothing wrong with it... just great that we collectively make an effort to connect with the natural world!
IMHO we will be closer to reaching the ideals of Nudism or Naturism when we can make a play or television series or movie with Nudism and Naturism as one of its core elements That Can At Be Credible In Hollywood Or Broadway.
